1. Cover a card with music sheet patterned paper, and distress the edges with a file. Cut the red patterned paper to 2 ¾ x 5 ½”, distress the edges with a file, and adhere the panel to the card. Tie a bow with the light blue ribbon, and adhere the ribbon to the card ½” from the bottom edge of the red patterned paper panel. Trim the ends.
2. Apply the striped and holly leaf border rub-ons along the top and bottom edge of the red patterned paper panel. Tip: The border rub-ons were not quite the length of the card, so I cut the rub-on into two pieces, determining where the tree on the card would be placed to hide the empty space, and applied them from each end.
3. Cut a triangle shape from a 3 ¾ x 3” green patterned paper panel. Apply border rub-ons for the tree’s garland.
4. Hand sew, or adhere if desired, the buttons and beads onto the green patterned paper panel for the tree’s ornaments. Make a base for the tree by cutting the brown patterned paper to 1 ½ x 1 1/8” and tapering the edges. Adhere both panels to the card to complete the tree.
5. Apply the letter stickers to the card for the title/sentiment. Apply the green border rub-ons along the title/sentiment to finish the card.
