Welcome back! 

This kit is surely putting me in a holiday frame of mind. It also helps that our weather is starting to turn a bit. I can't wait to bundle up with some hot chocolate and a couple of my fave holiday movies.

Holiday Kit - Sneak Peek 2

Welcome to a week of sneaks of the upcoming Holiday kit! You're going to love the deep red colors plus some green and a little light blue thrown in for good measure. This kit is also filled to the brim with sentiments, brads, flowers, and beautiful ribbon trims.  

This sneak is brought to you by DT member Michele Holcomb. The chipboard circle is backed up against a transparency. I love that the recipient will have a little sneak from the front of the greeting card.

"What A Hoot" Fall Kit:: Challenge

Hello Monday! 

Many of you should've received your kits by now, so how about a Challenge? We all loved the Doodlebug fall washi tape. What's not to love, right?! It's washi after all. 

Challenge: Create a card that showcases the washi tape. Make it the center stage of your card or use it to accent your design. 

Here's what the DT came up with:

Can you spot the tape on Cherry's card? She chose to accent the chip board heart and layer bits on top to make the tape pop!

I love how Tiff layered pieces of the tap underneath the cut  of the hexagons. Brilliant! 

Punched butterfly's was the accent choice for Michele's "Autumn" card which adds that finishing touch.

Guest DT Teri Anderson:: Card Tutorial

Welcome back CC2G Friends! Are you excited about the DT Call as much as I am? Check out the deets below this post.

For now...we want to share our amazing and talented guest DT Teri Anderson's "Thanks" hexagon card tutorial.

STEP 1 -  Cut hexagon from yellow paper. 

STEP 2 - Set onto second piece of patterned paper. Use a pattern to cut one more.

STEP 3 - Adhere two hexagons to card. 

STEP 4 - Add sentiment sticker, flowers, buttons and sequins to card.

STEP 5 - Add washi tape strips at the top and bottom of the card.

Get ready....CupCards To Go (CC2G) is looking for 4 new designers to add to our team!

New DT members will create with the monthly/bimonthly kit, have their photo on our home page and their card images in our gallery.

We are also looking for 2 designers to be a part of our Social Media Team (SMT). The SMT will have a strong online presence on CC2G's Facebook Page, Twitter Page and Instagram. Other options of social media include you own personal blog, CC2G Flickr Gallery, and Pinterest.

Guest Designer Teri Anderson

1. Tell us a little about yourself.

I live in the Northwest. I am a card maker and scrapbooker, and I make something nearly every day.  I have a background as a journalist. I divvy up my time nowadays as as the online coordinator and a product designer  for Technique Tuesday. I'm also a Go-to Gal and Contributing Editor to Paper Crafts magazine.

When i am not doing crafty things, I'm hanging out with family and friends, pampering my fluffy dog, Marley and planning my next adventure. 

2. Where do you find your inspiration?

Crafting is pretty much on my mind all the time. I'm addicted. (wink!)

I guess you could say I find it pretty much everywhere: Pinterest; out and about while window shopping; while traveling and so on. I usually have a camera with me so I take pictures a lot of things I want to remember. I keep a notebook of ideas, too!

3. What is your favorite dessert?

 Cheesecake. Definitely cheesecake. 

4. If  you could do anything without consequences, what would it be?

Turn off my phone and forget about the world for a few weeks. I'm pretty busy so it sometimes would nice to check out for a little while. Then again, I don't think I'd last longer than a couple days. I'd miss everyone! 

5. Three words that best describe your personality.

Happy. Funky. Loyal

Fall 2013 Kit

Welcome to Fall!! Our kit this month is WHAT A HOOT! I couldn't resist calling it that...after all...just look at that sweet owl! :)  It's jam packed full of Thankfulness! I encourage you to create some beautiful cards and give them to those you are most thankful for. Imagine the smile on their faces!!! The designers have a wonderful gallery to show you as well as a very simple sketch to follow. Our guest designer, Teri Anderson, will be back later in the month to show you a step-by-step card she made that you can easily make, too! How cool is that!?  

Our designers will also be participating in several events during World Card Making Day on Saturday, October 5th! I hope you will take advantage of them, too! :)

We're Celebrating 5 Years!

Welcome Fall!! It's that time of year for cooler mornings and I could not be happier. I love taking the puppy for a brisk walk in the cool morning air. :) And with fall comes our new kit for the season. You are going to LOVE this beauty!!

This kit celebrates CupCards To Go 5th Anniversary. Can you believe it's been 5 years?? I sure can't. I've been through many ups and downs during the years but through it all I've had your support. I appreciate you and THANK YOU!

This kit is full of Thankfulness. And who doesn't need to tell someone they are THANKFUL with a little card or giftie?? We all do! I'm really excited to show you we have planned. As soon as I got this peek from Designer Cherry Nelson I had to scoot on over here to show you all! Squeeeel!!! It's so adorable!! And that heart she used there..she cut that from the adhesive backed fabric included in the kit! There's some of the sparkly aqua pearls, too! Ohh la la!!

Hello Friends!

It's been a long time. We had to move out and back into our house to have the floors done yet again!! 3rd time's a charm right?? ;)  I'm just glad it's over and we can now enjoy our new beautiful flooring. It has taken so much time to get unpacked (we still aren't done yet).

I'm happy to be back and offering new, fun, jam-packed kits!! Our next kit will be our SUMMER KIT, full of all kinds of girlie and birthday fun! We always need birthday cards/envies/gifts right?? Get ready for some pearls, antique lace, feathers, washi tape, stickers, tickets, the list goes on and on. I will have a sneak peek for you soon so watch your emails, the homepage and fb. :) Oh...and something new is coming too....eeeeeeeeeek!! I can't wait to share!

And if you haven't see our new "fur"baby here he is!! Buddy is 4mo old now and keeps us busy for sure! ;) He's such a good puppy and so loveable. :D

1. Tell us a little about yourself.

I grew up in Sunny California where I still live with hubby.  We have two dogs, one name Artemis and the other Frodo.  I have many passions in life and sometimes it feels like there’s never enough hours in the day to fulfill all of them.  I love to craft because it allows me to meet so many people of all walks of life and I enjoy that!

2. Where do you find your inspiration?

I find my inspiration by looking at the patterns and colors in the paper I use.  I also look at embellishments and that usually gets the creative juices flowing.

3. What is your favorite dessert?

I LOVE gingerbread or anything pumpkin.

 4. If  you could do anything without consequences, what would it be?

I would buy all the crafting supplies I could get my hands on.

5. Three words that best describe your personality.

Practical, independent and funny

Here comes spring and we are ready with a new kit for the season!! Flutterby has all the fun & bright items to get you creatively making cards. Take a look at what the amazing Designers have created with the kit over in the gallery. They also followed a sketch for even more inspiration. :)
