I just got this peek from Wendi so I zipped over here to the home page to show you all! How cute is this!!? I love that she used the BACK side of the branches paper to make some cute little mittens...and then added the ivory pompom trim to the wrists. Adorable! And let's not forget about all the glitter she added on the right! :)

I'm so excited to show you this peek from Michele. Can you see the sweet little tassel ends? Oh it's precious! I can just picture it hanging on the front of your card and your recipient sawying it about. hee hee ;)  You are going to love attaching it to your favorite card!

I just love this sneak peek from Chrys...and how she made "holly" out of some simple, irregular stitching and the little bitty beads that are included in the kit. GENIUS!

You're probably asking yourself, "What's Boooing?" Take a look at Wendi's mid-month challenge for October over on her blog. Then, get your kit out and have some fun creating!

Tutorial Thursday!

Today I'm showing you a couple of Halloween cards you can make yourself by following these step-by-step directions, including photos. Our designers work very hard to make these cards just for you every month! Take a look in the October Gallery for even more! So, get your kit out and get ready to create a few cards in just minutes.

Card by Kay:
 

1. Adhere a solid cardstock piece onto the white card base.  Adhere orange pattern paper at the bottom of the card.  Layer the multi color stripe paper at the top edge of the orange paper.  Then, adhere the decorative "diamond" paper across the center of the multi color stripe pattern paper. Place your cut out costume character paper just above the multi stripe paper.
 
2. Position "Happy Halloween" rub on at the top of your card.
 
3. Punch out a 1 1/2 circle of the black and white polka dot paper.  Crumple the circle so that it looks wrinkled.  Tie the twine onto your button and trim the ends.
 
4. Adhere the button onto the wrinkled polka dot circle then adhere the whole piece to the left side of the card on top of the "diamond" paper strip.
 

Card by Melanie:
 

1. Choose your papers for card. Hand draw witch's hat on white paper. Hat should be approx. 2.5" tall to fit on 2" tall pumpkin. Trim purple background paper to fit card. Attach. Trim words paper. Adhere to card and machine stitch around edges.
 
2. Trace the witch hat onto the green paper and trim.
 
3. Punch three ovals from orange cardstock. Ink edges with black or charcoal ink.
 
4. Assemble ovals to form pumpkin. Adhere pieces to card.
 
5. Peel back from eyes and attach eyes. Adhere hat to card. Cut a strip of black paper for band around hat. Attach buttons and tag. For pumpkin mouth, use part of an alphabet letter sticker that has a curve. Trim and adhere.

Hello!  My name is Kay and I am beyond excited to be this month's Guest Designer!  About 5 years ago I began the hobby of card making and was instantly hooked.  I enjoy countless forms of paper crafting and feel very fortunate to have this outlet to express my creativity.  Fall is my favorite season so I was thrilled to create with the amazing goodies in the October kit!  Thank you so much CupCards {to go} for inviting me to be a part of this community!

I really love how Kay layered the flower in this card. The added bling flourish from her stash is the perfect touch!

 
The candy corn tree stamp included in the kit is probably my favorite! Look how Kay's tree is growing right out of the bow and button. So cute! She even added bling to her tree!

 
Kay is ready for the end of the month with this card by putting the date right on the front.
